James Morris Obituary, Death; – The Houston Police have identified a 72-year-old pedestrian who tragically lost his life after being struck by a vehicle on Thursday night. The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. at 500 FM 1959 in Houston.
A vehicle was heading southbound on FM 1959 when the male pedestrian, identified as James Morris, attempted to cross the road outside of a designated crosswalk. Morris was struck by the vehicle, and the driver remained at the scene, showing no indications of intoxication, as reported by the police. The driver was subsequently questioned and released.
Morris was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
