James Jennings Obituary, Death; – The Michigan State Police (MSP) have confirmed the identity of the individual who lost his life during a shootout with troopers after he had barricaded himself inside a residence on Thursday night.
MSP identified the deceased as 54-year-old James Jennings.
MSP reported that Jennings had barricaded himself within the home following a response to a domestic assault incident, and he died as a result of officers returning fire.
According to MSP, Jennings was heavily armed.
The victim managed to exit the residence and seek assistance.
