James Choi,Young Choi Obituary, Death;- On Tuesday, the Johns Creek Police reported that they discovered a deceased family of three during a welfare check conducted over the weekend.
The welfare check took place at a residence on Glen Castle Court, where authorities found 52-year-old James Choi, 52-year-old Young Choi, and 15-year-old Grace Choi all deceased.
According to a statement from the Johns Creek Police Department, “Preliminary investigation indicates this was a domestic-related murder-suicide. The suspect in this case is believed to be James Choi.” Police confirmed that Myoung Choi was the wife of James Choi and Grace was their daughter.
The department has stated that they will not disclose further details to maintain the integrity of the ongoing investigation and out of “respect for the family members affected by this tragedy.”
In a statement, Johns Creek Police Chief Mark J. Mitchell remarked, “This tragic incident has deeply affected not only the family and neighbors, but our entire community. We extend our heartfelt condolences to those impacted and ask that the community keep them in their thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.”
