Jamario Caldwell Obituary, Death; – A man sought in relation to a homicide in Charlotte has been apprehended in Prince George County, Maryland.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has identified the individual as Corey Livingston, aged 39. In an official statement, CMPD reported that homicide detectives traveled to Maryland and took Livingston into custody on November 5. He is wanted in connection with the murder of 32-year-old Jamario Caldwell, which occurred on October 8 in east Charlotte.
The investigation commenced when officers responded to the 100 block of Winding Path Way, where they discovered an abandoned vehicle along with several shell casings. Shortly thereafter, CMPD officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim, later confirmed to be Caldwell, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The CMPD statement did not disclose a motive for the shooting or the specific evidence that led detectives to identify Livingston as the suspect.
