Jamar Emmanuel Jenifer Obituary, – Authorities have confirmed the identity of the 34-year-old man who was fatally shot in Silver Spring on Labor Day. Jamar Emmanuel Jenifer, a resident of Washington, D.C., was discovered with apparent gunshot wounds in the 8000 block of 13th Street, as reported by police on Tuesday.
Emergency responders from both the police and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service arrived at the location around 9:42 a.m., which is situated approximately one block from the boundary with Washington, D.C.
Despite attempts to save his life, Jenifer was declared dead at the scene, according to the police statement. Currently, there are no suspects in custody, and detectives are treating the case as a homicide.
