Jalen Baker Obituary, Death; – The individual who lost his life following a shooting incident outside an apartment complex in southern Indiana on Tuesday night has been named. Jalen Baker, a 23-year-old resident of Jeffersonville, succumbed to his injuries at Baptist Floyd Hospital in New Albany shortly after the occurrence at StoneCrest Apartments.
According to New Albany Police Chief Todd Bailey, officers responded to a report of gunfire at 4723 Grant Line Road, located near IU Southeast and Grant Line Elementary School, at approximately 9:30 p.m. Baker was discovered within the premises suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Chief Bailey indicated that there are currently no suspects in custody as the investigation continues.
