Jahliel Jackson Obituary, Death; – Police in Delaware have apprehended a 13-year-old boy, charging him with the murder of a 19-year-old man, Jahliel Jackson, which occurred on Sunday, March 16, 2025, in Newark.
The investigation into Jackson’s death, which took place around 3:06 p.m. in the Clarion Court area of Kimberton, led authorities to identify a suspect, a 13-year-old from Wilmington.
Officials reported that law enforcement was summoned to the community following reports of gunfire. While searching for evidence, they discovered that a teenager with a gunshot wound to his upper body had been transported to a nearby hospital. Jackson was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival at the hospital. The 13-year-old boy, now in custody, faces charges including murder and possession of a firearm, among other offenses.
