Jagger Thorne Cox Obituary, Death;- A young man, aged 18, from St. Clair County, tragically lost his life early Saturday morning when his disabled vehicle was hit on Interstate 20, as reported by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
The deceased has been identified as Jagger Thorne Cox, hailing from Ragland.
Cox was the sole driver and occupant of a vehicle that had become inoperable on I-20 West, near mile marker 131, in proximity to Brussels Road and Georgia Road. Authorities indicate that the incident occurred at approximately 4:15 a.m. on November 22.
As per the coroner’s report, Cox was outside of his vehicle when another vehicle struck it, resulting in injuries that were ultimately fatal. He was declared dead at the scene at 5:28 a.m..
The Birmingham Police Department is currently looking into the details surrounding the accident. No further information has been disclosed.
