Jaden Goodwin Obituary, Death; – The Washington State Patrol is seeking assistance from the public in identifying a driver accused of hitting a pedestrian on southbound Interstate 5 in Olympia last month.

The tragic hit-and-run incident took place around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, just north of Sleater Kinney Road, as previously reported by The Olympian. Witnesses indicated that the pedestrian was lying in one of the two center lanes when a white pickup truck struck him, according to a press release.

First responders attempted to assist the pedestrian, but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The State Patrol has identified the pedestrian as Jaden Goodwin, a 28-year-old man from Olympia.

On Tuesday, WSP issued a news release requesting that witnesses come forward after investigators had exhausted their leads, as stated by Trooper John Dattilo.
The release features a photograph of a white GMC pickup truck that investigators believe may have been involved in the incident.
