Jacques Morris Obituary, Death; – A man from Hattiesburg has been charged with murder following an incident that occurred on Sunday. As reported by the online jail docket of the Forrest County Jail, 19-year-old Eric James Fairley was taken into custody on Wednesday morning at approximately 5 a.m.
Forrest County Coroner Lisa Klem has verified that the remains of 21-year-old Jacques Morris from Heidelberg were discovered at an apartment complex located on Country Club Road on Sunday morning around 4:15 a.m.
The body of Morris has been dispatched to the Biloxi Crime Lab for an autopsy. Public Information Officer Tate Rutland of the Hattiesburg Police Department has indicated that a statement with further details regarding the incident will be forthcoming.
