Jacob Nephew,Erin Abramson Obituary, Death; – The individual identified by law enforcement as having shot and killed four individuals before taking his own life last week had a documented history of mental health challenges, as reported by the Duluth Police Department earlier this summer.
A police report dated July 3 details an incident involving Anthony Nephew, during which he allegedly threatened someone with a knife. However, the report notes that no weapon was recovered at the scene. The identity of the individual he purportedly threatened has been redacted.
In his conversation with the officer, Nephew disclosed that he had been diagnosed with schizophrenia within the past five years and had recently altered his medication regimen. He also expressed to the police that he believed the Russians had exerted control over his mind since childhood.
Furthermore, the report reveals that Nephew requested the officer to return after midnight if Donald Trump were to assume power, suggesting he would prefer to end his life and that of his family. Additionally, the report mentions that Nephew had previously made suicidal threats approximately a year and a half prior to this incident.
On November 7, Anthony Nephew tragically took the lives of his two sons and their mothers in two separate residences in Duluth. Jacob Nephew, aged 15, and his mother Erin Abramson were discovered deceased from gunshot wounds in their home on Tacony Street.
In a nearby location, authorities found Oliver Nephew, aged 7, along with his mother Kat Ramsland, also dead from gunshot wounds. Anthony was subsequently found in the same residence with what police described as self-inflicted gunshot wounds.
