Jack Jensen Obituary, Death; – A 54-year-old woman tragically lost her life in a car accident on Saturday morning in the Peppermint Creek region of Tuolumne County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP received a dispatch at approximately 12:08 a.m. regarding a collision on Peppermint Circle, located west of Peppermint Lane.
Jack Jensen, a 61-year-old resident of Sonora, was operating a pickup truck when he reportedly lost control of the vehicle while making a turn, as stated by the CHP. He veered off the roadway and collided with two trees. The driver then attempted to reverse and struck a wooden utility pole.
The woman seated in the passenger position succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The CHP has concluded that Jensen was driving under the influence of alcohol. He has since been arrested and booked into the Tuolumne County jail on felony charges, as reported by the CHP. The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
