Ivan Villa Contreras Obituary, Death;- A man from Guthrie has died following an alleged stabbing incident. The Clarksville Police Department reported that they received a call regarding an assault at 9:39 AM on Tuesday.
According to CPD, the event took place at a construction site on Old Russellville Pike, where two workers were reportedly engaged in a dispute that led to one being stabbed. The injured individual was taken to Tennova Healthcare, where he later died from his injuries. Homicide detectives and the crime scene unit from CPD arrived to conduct an investigation.
Authorities stated that the suspect, Cristian Noe Moreno-Hernandez, from Springfield, Tennessee, remained at the construction site and was apprehended without incident. On Thursday, the victim was identified as 27-year-old Ivan Villa Contreras from Guthrie. Moreno-Hernandez faces charges of criminal homicide and is currently held at the Montgomery County Jail without bond. The investigation is still in progress.
