Imani Parrish Obituary, Death; A homicide investigation has commenced following the discovery of a woman’s body by Newport News police within a residence on Wednesday evening. Police reported that shortly before 9 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Antrim Drive in response to a call regarding an unresponsive individual.
Upon arrival, they found a woman inside the home who was not breathing and was pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased has been identified as Imani Parrish, a 28-year-old resident of Newport News. Authorities are treating her death as a homicide due to the ‘suspicious nature of [Parrish’s] injuries.
