Hyun Ahn,Sun Tok Lim Obituary, Death; Man under investigation in Pa. accused of double homicide, staging suicide in Md.

Hyun Ahn,Sun Tok Lim Obituary, Death;- Kevin Ahn was apprehended in March by the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department for allegedly transporting his deceased mother to an apartment complex located in Penn Township. He is charged with the strangulation of two individuals in Maryland.

Kevin Ahn is charged with abuse of corpse after his mother's body was found in an SUV outside a Lancaster County home.

According to the Baltimore County police, Ahn is accused of murdering both a woman and a man within a residence on Oliver Heights Road in Maryland, subsequently arranging their bodies to appear as though they had taken their own lives.

Authorities discovered 83-year-old Sun Tok Lim and 69-year-old In Yong Kim positioned on the kitchen floor with belts encircling their necks.

Documents indicate that the autopsies conducted on Lim and Kim determined that they succumbed to asphyxiation, with the manner of death classified as homicide. The Baltimore County police have stated that this aligns with the cause of death and manner experienced by Kevin’s mother, Hyun Ahn, as per her autopsy findings.

News 8’s Sarah Metts is actively seeking further information regarding her death and any potential charges that may arise. The Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department has confirmed that their investigation is ongoing.

As per the charging documents in Pennsylvania, it was Kevin Ahn’s estranged sister who alerted the police after observing Ahn behaving strangely outside Stiegel Manor Apartments, situated in the 100 block of Fruitville Pike, near Manheim, Lancaster County. She reported that he was Ahn returned about 30 minutes later, and his sister and her husband went outside to confront him.

Police said the sister told them she then saw what appeared to be a human leg hidden underneath clothing and household items in the backseat of the SUV. At a court hearing in May, a police sergeant told the judge that Hyun Ahn was found on the floor in the backseat of the white SUV, covered in trash, including McDonald’s wrappers.

The sister tried to question Ahn, but he ran away. Police found him running near East Ferdinand and South Main streets in Manheim Borough a short time later, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office.

Police and EMS searched the car and found the deceased woman, who was later identified as Hyun Ahn, 61, of Owings Mills, Md. According to police, she had a purple face, marks on her neck and hemorrhaging in her eyes.
