Hunter Raymond Gutierrez Obituary, Death; – A Florida man who had been missing for several months has been discovered deceased, as reported by his family.
Hunter Raymond Gutierrez, aged 30, was last observed departing his residence on foot in Davie, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale, at approximately 12 a.m. local time on June 1, according to a police news release.
Authorities indicated that Gutierrez had a history of mental health issues and had left his wallet and cellphone at home. Now, months later, Gutierrez’s family announced in a social media update that he has been found dead.
“With heavy hearts, we regret to inform you that Hunter was found yesterday,” his family expressed in a Facebook post shared on Friday, August 8.

They further stated, “It is difficult to articulate the profound sadness we feel in facing the loss of such a warm and loving son/brother.”
“While we had hoped for a different outcome, this news has provided some necessary closure. Your support during this challenging time has been invaluable to us. Please know that your kindness and efforts have been deeply appreciated,” the post continued.
According to police, a body was located in a lake in the vicinity on Thursday, August 7, although they did not publicly confirm the identity at that time, as reported by local news outlets WSVN and NBC 6.
PEOPLE reached out to the Davie Police Department for comments on Sunday, August 10, but did not receive an immediate reply.
