Henry L Jordan Jr Obituary, Death; – Following the inquiry into the shooting death of a 42-year-old man from Hampton in March, law enforcement officials have stated that one individual has been charged with murder while another has been charged with the concealment of a deceased body.
The Hampton Police Division disclosed the apprehensions of 31-year-old Davon Lewis and 57-year-old Don Mann, both from Hampton, in a statement released on Thursday. Lewis is facing several felony charges, including second-degree murder. Mann has been charged with the illegal disposal of a dead body, which constitutes a felony if carried out with malicious intent.
Authorities suspect that Lewis and Mann are connected to the death of 42-year-old Henry L. Jordan Jr. of Hampton, whose lifeless body was discovered by first responders in the rear of a residence on West Weaver Road on March 12. The investigation into Jordan’s death was classified as a homicide beginning in April. Police indicated that his death resulted from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
Before law enforcement located him deceased, Jordan had been reported missing and endangered by the police division. No additional information, including the motives behind the actions of the arrested individuals, has been made available at this time.
