Henry Casas Jr Obituary, Death; – The Bexar County Medical Examiner has yet to officially confirm the identity of the boy who tragically lost his life after being ejected from an SUV on Saturday; however, his family has identified him as 14-year-old Henry Casas Jr.
The incident occurred shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Saturday at a private residence on Zigmont Road, situated south of FM 1346 in East Bexar County. Casas Jr. was a passenger in the vehicle, which deputies reported was being driven in a reckless manner by a 16-year-old who was performing donuts.
The vehicle ultimately overturned, resulting in Casas Jr. being thrown from the SUV, where he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. His parents described him as a cheerful young man who had a radiant smile, a passion for football, and enjoyed spending time with his two older sisters.
As reported by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, the 16-year-old driver has been charged with manslaughter and injury to a child. Additionally, four other teenagers sustained injuries but are anticipated to recover, according to deputies.
