Guster Harfield Arrested; – Homicide investigators are seeking to speak with a woman who was present at the scene of the murder of Alvin Davis Jr., 43, which occurred at the Motel 6 on Lee Highway earlier this month.
Guster Harfield, 64, is currently facing a first-degree murder charge after admitting to the shooting. The Chattanooga Police Department has now released three images of an unidentified white female who is wanted for questioning in connection with this case.
“The images are of low quality, but even the slightest detail from the public could assist in progressing this investigation,” the department remarked. Anyone who recognizes her or possesses information regarding her location is encouraged to contact the department’s homicide tip line at 423-643-5100. Callers may remain anonymous.
Davis’ funeral took place on Wednesday, August 27, as noted in his online obituary.
“He was well-known by many, and to know him was to appreciate his unique way of expressing love. Two things were undeniable about Alvin: his enthusiasm for rap music and his commitment to his family. His children were the most significant aspect of his life, and he dedicated much of it to challenging the system in order to provide them and his grandchildren with a better future.
