Grant Clemo Obituary, Death; – The motorcycle operator who died in a crash Sunday evening has been identified as a 43-year-old Burlington resident, according to police.
The Bristol Police Department said in a news release Tuesday that Grant Clemo and another motorcycle operator both were going south on Burlington Avenue near Cindy Lane when the crash occurred.
“An initial investigation determined that one of the operators failed to properly negotiate a curve in the roadway, crashing their motorcycle,” police said. “The operator was transported to an area hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.”
Officers were called to the area for the reported crash around 7:55 p.m. Police said in a news release that the other motorcycle operator was not seriously injured and was speaking with police.
Police closed the area of Burlington Avenue and Cindy Lane during the investigation, but the area has since reopened. The department’s Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the incident.
