Gail McKee Obituary, Death; – A woman who passed away earlier this month, just days after being struck by a vehicle in Modesto, has been identified.
Gail McKee, 55, a resident of Modesto, was discovered by officers lying in the street at approximately 9:10 p.m. on June 4, at the intersection of McHenry and East Fairmont avenues, as reported by the Modesto Police Department.
According to police, McKee was allegedly hit by a Kia Optima traveling north in the leftmost lane on McHenry Avenue. The driver remained at the scene and contacted 911.
The driver of the Kia was cooperative during the investigation and exhibited no signs of impairment, as stated by law enforcement. Medical personnel transported McKee to the hospital, where police were informed that she succumbed to her injuries on June 6.
