Fernando Jimenez-Jimenez Obituary, Death; – The second individual who lost their life in a wrong-way collision, which also resulted in the death of a Las Vegas Metropolitan police officer last week, has been identified.
As reported by the Clark County Coroner’s office, 31-year-old Fernando Jimenez-Jimenez succumbed to blunt force injuries sustained in the I-15 incident. His place of residence remains unspecified.
The accident occurred at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 12, on the freeway close to Valley of Fire State Park. Colton Pulsipher, a 29-year-old officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, was also fatally injured. He was returning home to Moapa after completing his shift when he was struck by a driver traveling in the wrong direction. He is survived by his wife and three young children.
Pulsipher’s funeral is scheduled to take place in Moapa on December 18.
