Fadlalla Mohamed Arrested; – A 19-year-old has been apprehended and charged in relation to a shooting incident that resulted in the death of a 16-year-old boy on Saturday, as reported by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

According to deputies, Fadlalla Mohamed, 19, from Ashburn, faces charges of first-degree murder and the unlawful use of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

On Saturday evening, deputies were initially dispatched to the 43000 block of Hillmont Terrace following a report of a stabbing. However, upon arrival, they discovered a teenager in the front passenger seat of a vehicle parked outside the Harris Teeter in Southern Walk Plaza. The boy was declared dead at the scene.

Investigations revealed that the teenager had been shot at a different location, and he was subsequently transported to Southern Walk Plaza; the individual who brought him there is not considered a suspect. The sheriff’s office has identified Mohamed as the shooter and arrested him in Leesburg. He is currently being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without the possibility of bond.

“This was a heinous crime and a tragedy for the family of this young man,” stated Sheriff Mike Chapman. “I commend the numerous deputies, detectives, analysts, and others who worked tirelessly to identify, locate, and apprehend the suspect. The fact that a suspect was arrested in under 24 hours is a testament to their dedication, expertise, and the application of advanced technologies in identifying and locating Mohamed,” he added.
