Eric McMillen Obituary, Death; A suspect remains at large following the fatal shooting of a man, which police have classified as a domestic incident, in the Roseland neighborhood on the far South Side on Wednesday morning.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office has identified the deceased as 52-year-old Eric McMillen from the South Chicago area. According to law enforcement, McMillen was engaged in a dispute with an acquaintance on the 11200 block of South Normal Avenue at approximately 7:15 a.m. when he was shot in the chest and abdomen.
He was declared dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, as reported by the police. As of 10 a.m. on Wednesday, no arrests had been made, and detectives from the Wentworth area are currently investigating the incident.
