Eric M Page Obituary, Death; – A 39-year-old man tragically lost his life in a skiing accident at Black Mountain Ski Area in Jackson, New Hampshire, over the weekend.
According to Jackson police, they received a call regarding the skiing incident at 5:51 p.m. on Sunday. Although no witnesses observed the accident, it was reported by another skier passing by.
Initial reports indicated that a skier had veered off the designated trail and sustained serious injuries. Ski patrol personnel were dispatched to the Upper Maple Slalom trail, close to the summit, to assist the injured skier. Upon their arrival, they discovered an unresponsive man with severe injuries at the edge of the snow line, adjacent to the trail. Efforts to revive him were initiated as he was transported to the base area.
Further life-saving measures were attempted by the Bartlett Jackson Ambulance team; however, these efforts proved unsuccessful, and the individual was pronounced dead.
The deceased skier has been identified as Eric M. Page, a resident of Bartlett. The chief medical examiner’s office has been informed and has directed that Page’s body be taken to a funeral home in North Conway.
Authorities have stated that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
