Emmanuel Rivera Abarca,Marcial Rivera Solorio Obituary, Death; – Authorities have officially named two additional individuals among the five who tragically lost their lives ten days ago in a devastating collision on state Route 67, located north of San Vicente Reservoir.

Emmanuel Rivera Abarca, aged 32, and Marcial Rivera Solorio, aged 59, were included in the group of five who suffered fatal injuries during the three-vehicle accident that occurred on July 18 in eastern Poway, as reported by the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office and the Medical Examiner’s Office. According to a GoFundMe page, the two were related as father and son.

Roberto Martinez Oros, aged 68, who was identified in the previous week, was traveling south at approximately 12:30 p.m. on that day when a Chevrolet Silverado 1500, heading north, suddenly veered into his lane at a high speed, colliding with his Honda Civic near Iron Mountain Drive, as stated by authorities.

Shortly thereafter, a Toyota Tacoma carrying three individuals also collided with the Honda.

Oros, a resident of Ramona who was alone in the sedan, succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the incident, along with the occupants of the other vehicles, according to sheriff’s Lt. Colin Hebeler. It remains uncertain which of the two pickup trucks Solorio and Abarca were in, although it has been noted that Abarca was described as the driver of one of them.

The medical examiner has not yet publicly disclosed the identities of the other two victims involved in the crash.

Furthermore, authorities have not provided any conclusions regarding the cause of the pileup, which ignited a roadside brush fire that spread over approximately half an acre before firefighting crews managed to extinguish the flames. “Deputies are continuing their investigation into what led the Silverado to cross into oncoming traffic,” Hebeler stated last week. “They are also examining footage from a passing vehicle that recorded images of the collision.”
