Emily Price Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identity of a pedestrian who was tragically struck and killed by an NJ Transit train in South Brunswick last week. The victim has been identified as a 43-year-old woman from North Carolina.
Emily Price was involved in the incident at 9:35 p.m. on November 11, when a Northeast Corridor train, en route from the Jersey Avenue station in New Brunswick to the Princeton Junction stop in West Windsor, collided with her. According to an Amtrak representative, Price resided in Durham, North Carolina. Amtrak, which is responsible for the ownership and operation of the tracks along the Northeast Corridor, is conducting the investigation.
At the time of the accident, the Trenton-bound train was carrying 110 passengers and crew members. It had departed from New York Penn Station at 8:37 p.m.
