Elias Yanez,Kane Roldan Obituary, Death; – Chula Vista police have apprehended an individual in connection with the deadly shooting of two boys during a Halloween party.
David Garcia, aged 18, was arrested without incident close to his residence in National City and has been charged with murder at the county jail.
The Chula Vista Police Department reported that officers responded to shooting reports on October 31 at 11:17 p.m. on E. Prospect Street. Upon arrival, they discovered two individuals with gunshot injuries.
The two were transported to UCSD Medical Center, where they were both declared deceased.
The victims have been identified as Elias Yanez, 17, and Kane Roldan, 15.
Authorities stated that the boys were attending a Halloween party when a dispute escalated into gunfire.
“Currently, there are no other suspects believed to be at large,” a statement from the CVPD indicated. “Nevertheless, the investigation is still active and ongoing, and further arrests may occur as new information comes to light.”]} }}
