Elder Gonzalez Obituary, Death; – A man has tragically lost his life after falling into a tanker-trailer he was cleaning in Stearns County on Tuesday.
According to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, they received a report of a “medical incident” at approximately 9:45 a.m. after a 25-year-old man fell into a 42-foot tanker trailer located on a property in Eden Lake Township and was found to be “unresponsive.”
The individual was discovered inside a trailer utilized for DAF water (Dissolved Air Flotation – a wastewater treatment process). At the time of the incident, the trailer contained 1.5 feet of water.
The deceased man, identified as Elder Gonzalez from Eden Valley, had been using a hose to clean the trailer prior to his unfortunate fall.
He was extracted from the trailer, and lifesaving efforts were initiated; however, he was subsequently pronounced dead at Paynesville Hospital.
