Dunia Tuhenya Obituary, Death; – The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the 17-year-old boy who was shot and killed in Newburg on Tuesday.
The Louisville Metro Police Department received a call regarding the shooting at approximately 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday, specifically at the 300 block of Poplar Level Court.
Upon arrival, the police discovered Dunia Tuhenya suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso. Tuhenya was transported to the hospital, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries.
According to the coroner’s report, he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. The investigation is being conducted by LMPD’s Homicide Unit.
