Duane Lewis Obituary, Death; – A teenager who was fatally shot in Oshtemo Township has been named. Deputies responded to a report of gunfire on West KL Avenue near Concord Place Drive at approximately 11:58 p.m. on Tuesday. Upon their arrival, they discovered 15-year-old Duane Lewis with a gunshot wound, as reported by the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office.
Lewis received immediate medical assistance and was transported to Bronson Hospital for additional care; however, he was later pronounced dead, according to the deputies. Several pieces of evidence were gathered from the scene. As of Thursday, the investigation into this incident is ongoing.
