Donnella Bryan Obituary, Death; – A man is facing legal charges several months after a woman was discovered deceased in a dumpster located in Northeast D.C.
As reported by the Department of Justice, 58-year-old Richard Dyson was apprehended on Wednesday in relation to the death of 62-year-old Donnella Bryan, which occurred on or around April 15.
On April 19, officers from the Metropolitan Police Department found a woman deceased inside a dumpster in the 1600 block of Maryland Ave. NE. The deceased was later identified as Bryan, who had been reported missing just two days prior.
During a court appearance on Thursday, Dyson entered a plea of not guilty to charges of second-degree murder. A judge has mandated that he be held without bond until a preliminary hearing scheduled for June 18.
Authorities have not disclosed any information regarding the relationship, if any, between Dyson and Bryan prior to her death. No details concerning a motive have been made public.
