Djuan Hall Obituary, Death; – As previously reported by News Center 7, law enforcement was summoned to the 4600 block of Forsythe Avenue following an initial report of a shooting at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Saturday. “Someone just got shot in my house,” stated one caller to 911 dispatchers.
Before officers arrived, an additional report was received concerning a collision in which an individual in a vehicle had sustained gunshot wounds, as noted by Lt. Steven Bauer. Upon their arrival, police discovered a crash on the 1900 block of Arlene Avenue.
The victim, identified as Hall, was located with gunshot wounds in the vehicle responsible for the collision. He was subsequently transported to Miami Valley Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries the following day, according to the coroner’s office.
A female passenger from the fleeing vehicle was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries resulting from the accident. The driver of the other vehicle involved in the incident was unharmed. The Homicide Unit of the Dayton Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into both the shooting and the crash.
