Diego Razo-Cortes Obituary, Death; – A man has been charged with murder following his arrest in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred last month in north Phoenix.
Jason Fleming, aged 47, was taken into custody regarding the fatal stabbing of 34-year-old Diego Razo-Cortes, which transpired on September 14 at a gas station located near 28th Avenue and Thunderbird Road, just west of Interstate 17.
Throughout the course of their investigation, detectives gathered various pieces of evidence, including surveillance footage, which pointed to Fleming as a potential suspect. Efforts to locate Fleming initially proved unsuccessful.
On October 15, officers from the Phoenix Police Department responded to a report of trespassing near 18th Avenue and Union Hills Road. During this response, Fleming was located and subsequently arrested. Fleming has been booked into jail on charges of murder, along with other unrelated offenses.
