DiCarlo Dickerson Obituary, Death; – D.C. police have disclosed the identity of a man who succumbed to injuries sustained from a shooting in Northeast over the weekend.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) reported that officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Eastern Ave., NE, shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, following reports of a shooting incident.
Upon arrival, they discovered a man who was “unconscious and not breathing” due to gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of emergency responders to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a subsequent update on Monday, authorities identified the deceased as 48-year-old DiCarlo Dickerson, a resident of Northeast.
