Devante Edwards Obituary, Death; – Police have confirmed the identity of the 25-year-old victim who was fatally shot on Thursday night in west Lubbock.
Officers were dispatched at approximately 11:04 p.m. to the 61100 block of 26th Street following reports of gunfire at a residence, as stated by the Lubbock police. Upon their arrival, they found Devante Edwards suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was declared dead at the scene.
As of Friday morning, the Lubbock Police Department reported that no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing with assistance from the Lubbock County Texas Anti-Gang Unit.
