Desuan Baker-Dunning Obituary, Death; – Police have identified Desuan Baker-Dunning, a 32-year-old resident of Brooklyn, as the individual who was fatally stabbed in Stapleton on Wednesday.
Baker-Dunning, hailing from Gravesend, was discovered with life-threatening injuries when law enforcement arrived at approximately 4:42 p.m. in response to a 911 report of an assault at the intersection of Bay and Wave streets, as stated by the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information.
Officers located Baker-Dunning with a stab wound to his chest. Emergency Medical Services transported him to Richmond University Medical Center in West Brighton, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries, according to the police report. As of Thursday morning, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing, the police statement indicated.
