Destiny Simon Obituary, Death; – An 18-year-old woman from San Bernardino has been identified as one of the two individuals who lost their lives in a collision that occurred on Saturday night on Air Expressway in Victorville, as confirmed by authorities.
The incident took place at around 8:47 p.m. on July 19, 2025, in the westbound lanes of Air Expressway, just east of Ranch Road, according to a statement released by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
Investigators found that the crash involved a gold Mercedes-Benz CLK320 and a silver Honda Accord. The Mercedes was operated by 19-year-old Jalen Kendall from Helendale. His passenger, 18-year-old Destiny Simon from San Bernardino, tragically died at the scene.
The driver of the Honda Accord, who has only been described as an adult male resident of Adelanto, was also pronounced dead at the scene. His identity remains undisclosed pending the notification of his next of kin.
Kendall was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center to receive treatment for injuries he sustained in the accident.
The Victorville Major Accident Investigation Team has taken over the investigation. Air Expressway was closed for several hours between Gas Line Road and North D Street while deputies processed the scene.
