Derico T Sanders II Obituary, Death; – A body discovered in a sediment trap located off Gum Branch Road, close to the Jacksonville city limits, has been confirmed as Derico T. Sanders II. The North Carolina State Medical Examiner’s Office made a positive identification of the remains found on December 11th. Sanders had been reported missing on November 6th.
According to Captain Richard Kellum of the Jacksonville Police Department, law enforcement officials have stated that there are currently no signs of foul play. At present, there are no public safety concerns, and the investigation remains active and ongoing.
