Denise Brouillette Obituary, Death; – Longueuil police have stated their belief that a woman discovered deceased in an apartment last weekend was a victim of homicide. Officers responded to a call at an apartment located on Cuvillier Street Ouest in Longueuil late Sunday morning, where they found the body of a woman.
Initially, the police classified the incident as a suspicious death; however, an update released on Tuesday confirmed that the woman had been murdered. The victim has been identified as 79-year-old Denise Brouillette.
“We are actively pursuing this case, as the findings from the ongoing expert reports will shed more light on the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death,” the police communicated via social media. While no arrests have been made thus far, the investigation remains active.
