Deborah Floyd Obituary, Death; – A woman lost her life while attempting to cross the street in the southern suburbs on Sunday, according to officials. The incident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. as she was crossing Division Street near Waverly Street in Morris.
She was hit by a motorist traveling southbound and was immediately transported to the hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. The Grundy County coroner has identified the deceased as 70-year-old Deborah Floyd. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, being conducted by the Grundy County Coroner’s Office in conjunction with the Morris Police Department.
