David F Hart Obituary, Death; – The Allen County Coroner’s Office reports that the individual who was struck by a Citilink bus on Illinois Road last week succumbed to his injuries several days following the incident.
According to Fort Wayne police, the accident occurred on Thursday, July 24, at the intersection of Illinois and Hillegas roads. They indicate that the man had just disembarked from a Citilink bus when he stumbled on a curb as the bus was departing, resulting in him being run over by the rear wheels of the vehicle.
On Thursday, the man was identified as David F. Hart, 71, a resident of Fort Wayne. The coroner’s office confirmed that Hart passed away from his injuries on July 29.
His death has been classified as an accident, marking the 27th traffic fatality in Allen County this year.
