David Didusch Obituary, Death; – The delivery driver is dead following a crash involving a truck carrying a trailer bed in Green Township.

The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office identified the driver as 30-year-old David Didusch, of Cincinnati. Didusch died at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center Thursday, the coroner’s sheet indicates.

Green Township police say the crash happened in the 4300 block of Hutchinson Road at 4:38 p.m. Wednesday. A Ford F-250 truck with an empty trailer bed attached was traveling north on Hutchinson Road while an Amazon van was stopped facing the southbound lane.

Police say the driver of the van, now identified as Didusch, was crossing the road to deliver a package but did not wait enough time for the oncoming truck and trailer to clear his path before continuing to cross.

The rear of the trailer bed ended up hitting him, police explained. The 30-year-old was transported to UC Medical Center with life-threatening injuries but was pronounced dead Thursday. Green Township police say the driver of the Ford kept driving after the crash, but was located later.

It is unknown if the driver will face any charges. The crash is still under investigation. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call the Green Township Traffic Unit at 513-574-0007.
