David Dewey Obituary, Death; – The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office identified a Janesville man who died in a crash Monday morning involving a semi.
The department said David Dewey, 37, died of the injuries he suffered in the Town of Albion crash. The Medical Examiner’s Office completed a forensic autopsy on Monday.
The crash was reported before 5:50 a.m. Monday on I-39/90 northbound near US-51, and involved a SUV and a semi tractor-trailer. According to Wisconsin State Patrol, the SUV collided with the semi as the semi was stopped on the right shoulder of the road.
Officials pronounced Dewey dead at the scene of the crash. The driver of the semi, a 22-year-old man, was not hurt.
