David Castro Rodriguez,Angelina Bryand Obituary, Death;- A suspect has been named in what authorities have confirmed to be a murder-suicide incident.
On Tuesday, the Medical Examiner’s Office identified the suspect as 33-year-old David Castro Rodriguez, who succumbed to sharp-force injuries classified as a suicide. The victim, 32-year-old Angelina Bryand, also suffered fatal sharp-force injuries, which investigators have ruled as a homicide.
At approximately 11 a.m. on April 4, law enforcement was dispatched to the Park Ridge apartments near Crestway Drive for a welfare check.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered Bryand deceased. Subsequent investigations revealed that Rodriguez was found dead from a self-inflicted injury, barricaded within a closet. Additionally, police discovered children inside the apartment, who had been confined in a bathroom but were unharmed.
The investigation remains ongoing.
