David Camp Obituary, Death; Princeton man killed, 2 family members seriously injured after fatal crash Friday

David Camp Obituary, Death; – A resident of Princeton lost his life, and two of his relatives were airlifted to a hospital in Rockford following a two-vehicle collision in LaSalle County on Friday afternoon, as reported by the family to KWQC.

A family member, who was also involved in the incident, confirmed to KWQC that the deceased was identified as David Camp, 58, from Princeton, Illinois. The incident occurred at approximately 1:15 p.m. at the intersection of Illinois Route 23 and North 32nd Road, close to Ottawa, according to the Sheriff’s Office. In a statement, the Sheriff’s Office indicated that four individuals were transported to Ottawa Hospital via ambulance.

The family informed KWQC that two relatives were subsequently airlifted to a Rockford hospital due to serious injuries, while a third family member was discharged from Ottawa Hospital without any injuries. The Illinois State Police Accident Reconstruction Team is collaborating with the Sheriff’s Office in the ongoing investigation.
