Davell Holden Obituary, Death; – A 16-year-old boy shot and killed in south suburban South Holland on Saturday has been identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office as Davell Holden.
A spokesperson for South Holland said police responded to the 16000 block of South Drexel Avenue around 7:30 p.m. Saturday regarding a young male targeted with a single gunshot.
The male, later identified as Holden, was subsequently pronounced dead. The spokesperson said the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force is investigating the fatal shooting, and anyone who may have information is encouraged to contact South Holland police detectives at 708-331-3131, ext. 2. No further information was available.
