Dave Jefferson,Antonio Rainey Obituary, Death; – The New Orleans Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identities of two men who were killed in separate shootings earlier this week.
The fatalities of Dave Jefferson and Antonio Rainey, both aged 45, have been categorized as homicides, and the investigation into their deaths is currently ongoing.
Jefferson was fatally shot in Hollygrove on Sunday afternoon, outside a residence located in the 8700 block of Edinburgh. Authorities discovered him injured in the driver’s seat of a vehicle, and paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Rainey was discovered with fatal gunshot wounds on Monday morning in Gentilly Terrace, specifically in the 2600 block of Myrtle Street.
No further details regarding either of the fatal shootings have been disclosed.
