Daval Byramas Obituary, Death; – The Albany Police Department has disclosed the identity of the 23-year-old man who was fatally injured in an alleged stabbing incident on Saturday. Daval Byramas, a resident of Troy, succumbed to his injuries at Albany Memorial Hospital.
Albany police were alerted to the hospital around 10:05 p.m. when Byramas arrived at the emergency room suffering from a critical stab wound. Authorities report that Byramas and the suspect, identified as 33-year-old Kyle Crayon from Albany, were acquaintances who had engaged in a physical confrontation on Ontario Street, close to Third Street.
Crayon, who is charged with stabbing Byramas with a knife and subsequently fleeing the scene, faces a charge of second-degree murder. He was arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court on Sunday morning.
