Darron Willie Singleton Jr Obituary, Death; – The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office has identified the individual who was found shot and killed in a residential area of Lemon Grove on Wednesday night.
On Tuesday, the department reported that the body of 23-year-old Darron Willie Singleton Jr., a resident of Lemon Grove, was located around 11 p.m. the previous Wednesday, following multiple reports of gunfire in the 2200 block of Dain Court.
Authorities stated that deputies initiated lifesaving measures until medical personnel arrived; however, Singleton Jr. ultimately did not survive his injuries.
The Medical Examiner’s Office conducted the autopsy on Friday, revealing preliminary findings that indicated the manner of death was due to multiple gunshot wounds, with homicide determined as the cause of death.
Homicide investigators continue to seek additional information regarding the circumstances surrounding Singleton Jr.’s death. At this time, there are no confirmed suspects in the case, as reported by the department.
